On the 3rd of September the English Defence League (EDL) are planning to come to demonstrate in Tower Hamlets, London. The EDL are a far right group of Nationalists. They want to enter the area to stir up racial tensions. Anti fascists and local members of the local community are planning to stop them entering the area.

Wednesday 10th August – Monday 15th. Earth First Gathering
“This year's Earth First Summer Gathering takes place in East Anglia, starting on the 10th of August and running for five days. With six workshops tents we have space for over 100 discussions, presentations and workshops. The spaces are filling up fast, but there is still time to book a spot. So if you've got an idea you wish to highlight, whether it's related to ecological defence or social resistance here is your chance. The gathering is attended by hundreds of individuals interested and participating in struggles around the UK and Europe.”

Saturday 13th August. Dale Farm activity day There will be activity day at Dale Farm, every Saturday until the opening of Camp Constant (Saturday, 27th August). Saturday 8th – Sunday 9th October. Rebellious Media Conference The Rebellious Media Conference, a major event to take place in Central London on 8-9 October 2011, is being organised by a committee that includes Peace News, Ceasefire magazine, New Internationalist, Red Pepper, Undercurrents and visionOntv.
This gathering will have three main purposes:
to showcase inspiring examples of radical media practice;
to further develop radical critiques of the mainstream media;
to enable activists, journalists and students to engage in training and skillsharing. The Rebellious Media Conference (RMC) is also:
an opportunity for dialogue between radical media and mainstream media;
