Arms manufacturer EDO MBM has lost its case against anti-war protestors.
The cluster bomb manufacturing EDO had used anti-stalking laws to try to ban peaceful protest outside its Brighton factory. EDO now face legal bills of over £1m and must pay defendent's court costs of tens of thousands of pounds. This still means more money for law firm Timothy Lawson Cruttenden, specialists in anti-activist injunctions. However, EDO are facing losses of £1.4m this year, partly due to legal losses - possibly an indication that this particular gravy train might be running out of steam.
